Simple Moments

At 5:00 a.m. next Wednesday morning I’ll be getting on an airplane all by my lonesome and will be flying to Dallas where I’ll finally get to see Amy for only the second time since this whole I Heart Faces adventure began over a year ago.

We are both just a *little* bit excited about that.  🙂

In the meantime, we’ve been going absolutely crazy trying to finalize all the little details for the workshop and trying to do about three weeks worth of posts so that we won’t have to worry about them while we are in the middle of the workshop.  Writing three weeks worth of posts is really not very much fun at all.

And, in the middle of all that, I also decided to back-up all of my photos onto this awesome, ginormous 1 TB external hard drive I purchased a few days ago.  A task that has made me realize that I really need to go through my photos and get rid of a lot of the bad ones.

In the midst of my mess of photos, this cute little face popped out at me…

Nothing extraordinarily special about this photo to anyone but me and his dad…but I love it.  A simple moment captured right in the middle of a “very important” conversation he was having with me on our walk a few days ago.

As much as I am looking forward to going to Dallas to meet all the wonderful ladies who will be attending the workshop, I sure am going to miss that little smiling face.  And three other amazing little faces as well.
