So, as much as I thought I hated last week’s I ♥ Faces photo challenge (Self-Portraits), I think I hated this week’s theme even more. It was SO challenging! And, of course, I had absolutely no “Reflection” photos at all in the 1,000’s upon 1,000’s of photo files I have on my computer which meant that I had to try to think of an idea yesterday…at the very last minute…because I tend to procrastinate when I don’t like the task I have to complete. Urgh!

All I can say is: a) thank goodness my neighbors have a pond; b) yay for little girls who don’t mind posing for photos; and c) how cool that I had bought tulips the night before I remembered I had to find a “reflection” photo for this week’s theme! And I never buy flowers so that was a pretty amazing thing…

This category was a nightmare. I tried to do a shoot with the hubby (who, of course, had to ask the prerequisite question of “well, what will I get from you if I do a photo shoot for you?” *wink, wink…nudge, nudge*). Unfortunately for me, the photo shoot didn’t work out at all even though I had made some promises.
I tried the face in the sunglasses trick…kids didn’t cooperate for that one a bit.
We finally tried the mirror thing. After 62 shots, I finally figured out where the camera needed to be so some faces would actually show up in the mirror.
Again…urgh!!
So, in this photo I am showing off my enthusiasm for this week’s theme…
I’m sure I’ll start enjoying it a bit more now since I’ll be off to look at all of your entries. You all inspire me more than you’ll ever know!
