"Wonder" Photo Challenge

This week’s theme at I Faces is “Wonder” ~ and, in my opinion, this is probably the most challenging theme we’ve had so far.

I’ve known for weeks what my kid’s entry would be…one of my very most favorite photos that I took of Weslea on the first day that snow fell this season. (If you had seen this photo SOOC, you wouldn’t have even believed it. It was bad!) After I played with it in Photoshop a bit, I fell in love. This photo just screams “Wonder” to me!

As always, the Adult photo was a lot more difficult for me. While looking through my files tonight, I found this photo of my mom holding my nephew. This was taken the day that Ben’s new baby sister was born and the poor little guy was so exhausted from the excitement that he fell asleep in Grandma’s arms. Grandma was loving the sweet, peaceful, content moment and I absolutely love the expression on her face.

As co-founder of I Faces I know that I can’t actually be considered as a winner for any of the contests, but I sure enjoy joining in on the fun each week anyway. I can’t wait to see the beautiful entries in this week’s contest and to be totally inspired in my photography journey. If you have a few minutes, be sure to head on over to our website to check out the beautiful faces!
