The Frozen Lake.

My two friends from church (Jean and Bea) and I went on our once-a-month Photography Drive on Tuesday. Jean’s hubby tagged along with us and so did another guy known as Mr. Weston.

We made several stops, but our last stop…and probably my favorite stop…was at Lake Erie, which is located about an hour away from where we live.

I’ve lived in Ohio from the time I was 3 until I was 21 and then moved back here when I was 27. In all those years I’m fairly certain that I have never even once seen a huge section of Lake Erie frozen.

It was a marvelous sight…and so very cool (in more ways than one!)

Mr. Weston didn’t really enjoy the trip all that much (he usually would be hanging out at his cousin’s home)…until we got to the Lake Erie part of our day. And then he was loving it!

What an absolutely beautiful sight!

Now I need to find the time to edit the other 250+ photos I took that day. Makes me tired just thinking about it, but if they all turn out like these I will be a very happy photographer lady indeed!
