Autumn Splendor

“Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile.”
William Cullen Bryant

We don’t have even one tree on the front portion of our property. We do have trees galore back in our woods…we just haven’t brought ourselves to fork out the money to purchase the beautiful trees we’d love to have up close to our home.

Lucky for us, our neighbors have beautiful, gorgeous, amazing trees all around their home. And since my neighbor friend is fully aware of my photography addiction….she has grown used to seeing me traipse over to their yard from time to time with my camera in hand.

Several nights ago, the light was hitting their fiery red tree just perfectly. Now, tell the truth…would your camera have been able to resist that sight? I think not!

I’ve noticed that several of you thoughtful ladies are doing thankfulness posts in November. To go along with that theme, today I am here to tell you that I am thankful for wonderful neighbors who patiently put up with the kooky lady next door who is always taking pictures of their trees! 🙂
