Yippee, Yeah, Rah!

Is “Yippee, Yeah, Rah!” even something that a cheerleader would actually say?

At the end of my first Senior Pictures shoot with Chelsey, we began to realize that a storm was a-brewing (remember the wind we were dealing with?) and that the sky was getting too dark to continue with the shoot. We decided to meet another night to finish up with some pictures of her in her cheerleading outfit.

You can tell the girl is crazy fun just from looking at her car…

And, as you all have seen already, she’s a complete natural when it comes to posing for the camera…

Although, I suspect that most teenage girls are probably pretty happy to get the chance to pose for the camera and to have a bunch of pictures taken of them…

We had so much fun, we’ve decided to meet up again when the leaves change colors for some cute fall shots and then once more this winter to try to do another shoot with the beautiful white snow as our background.

I’m astounded by how much I learned about photography, and about how to pose people for certain shots, and about Photoshop just from helping Chelsey out with her Senior Pictures. The experience was golden for me!

And it looks like I might get to try it all out again…one of Chelsey’s friends contacted me yesterday and wanted to know if I could take her Senior Pictures for her. Holy Schmoly! Let the fun begin…
