Our Saturday.

Weston and I spent our Saturday morning hanging out at Will’s soccer game. I’ve decided that my kids are devious by far…they worked hard during the pre-season to con us into giving them a $1.00 per goal for every goal that they make this season. What we didn’t count on is that they are making more goals than we ever imagined. This week’s count? Will – 2; Weslea – 3; Wyatt – 3. I think I’m going to need to stock up on more $1.00 bills.

It was great fun to watch Will play in his game. His team ended up losing, but as one of the oldest players on the team it’s been awesome to see him become a good leader.

It was also fun because I got to hang out with Kate and talk photography the entire game! 🙂

After I returned home, I decided to take pictures of the “hurricane damage” that happened to our roof. (I never in this lifetime ever thought I’d think “hurricane damage” and “Ohio” in the same sentence.)

I am thrilled that we’ll finally be getting our problem roof taken care of though!

And Saturday was a day for a “first”…the first time I let the three older kids go to the woods by themselves for as long as they wanted. The two neighbor boys decided to tag along and, needless to say, they had a blast. Mom was a little nervous about it, but so glad to have some time to alone to clean the house while they were gone.

Pretty nice Saturday all around…
