My Messy Table.

I received an instant message in the wee hours of Thursday morning. That instant message has sent me into a complete and utter tizzy.

My dear friend, Michelle, who moved to Chicago last summer wrote me that she was thinking of driving to Ohio this weekend and “could she and the kids please stay at our house?” And I wrote back “yes, yes, yes!” We have not seen each other for over a year and it will be wonderful to see her and her four kiddos again. And then my brain seized up, I had a panic attack and I thought “Oh my word…my house is sooooo not ready for visitors.”

So, I have been in a cleaning frenzy and (thanks to some wonderful relatives who kept my kids overnight) I think the house is almost ready for visitors to descend upon it.

In the midst of my panic attack though, a box arrived on my doorstep. And this box made me think to myself “Self…I’ll bet my friends and family would like to see pictures of the messy table in my stamp room.”

So, here they are…pictures of my messy table:

And here’s a picture of my new scallop punch that is sitting on my messy table:

And here’s a picture of my new Sock Monkey stamp set that is sitting on my messy table:

And here is a picture of my scissors that are sitting on my messy table:

And here’s a picture of my adhesive remover that is sitting on my messy table:

And here’s a picture of….okay! I’ll stop now.

For those of you who think I’m completely insane at this moment, it is a little known fact that as a SU demo I have to follow a “rule” that we are not allowed to blog pictures of the new catalog when it arrives at our home. We are, however, allowed to blog pictures of a messy table that our new catalog might just possibly be happening to sit upon at the time of the picture.

Strange, but true.

Do you all love my messy table or what?!
