Funny? Or Not.

One of our most interesting stops in Ann Arbor was the Vault of Midnight Comic Book Store….which actually had a lot more to it than just comic books. It’s kind of like a grown-up version of a super heros/comic books/action heros/comic books/any kind of heros type of store.

As you can see…little boys are just as fascinated by the store as grown-up boys are:

One of the best parts of our visit came from a small container of stuffed animals that were called: Giant Microbes. Which are described on the sign as “humorous”, “educational”, and “fun!”

We definitely found them to be humorous. They are educational (if you want your kids to learn about any and every type of disease known to mankind.) And, for my kids, they were big-time fun.

And, I have to admit, their mom found them fun as well…at least, it was hysterical watching my kids act out each and every different disease and nasty organism they could find. The Common Cold, The Flu, Sore Throat, Stomach Ache, Cough, Ear Ache, Maggot, Bad Breath, Athlete’s Foot, Ulcer, Beer & Bread Yeast, Fat Cell, Mange, Rabies, Toxic Mold, Black Death, Dust Mite, Scum, Pimples…bring ’em on! We can handle you! You nasty things…you.

Until…I swear to God on this!…somewhere in that huge bin of stuffed toys, one of the kids actually found chlamydia.

Okay…fun’s over…moving on. There is no way mom was even going there yet. Give me a couple more years. Heck, give me 100 more years please. Please?!

Holy cow…
