Rainy Summer Days

I was just telling Bill the other day that I didn’t think the kids had ever been outside to play in a rain storm yet. I remember the “good old days” when we’d be allowed to run around outside in the rain (as long as there was no thunder or lightening) and we’d run from tree to tree shaking the branches to have even more water come down on top of us.

It wasn’t but a couple of days later and we had another downpour. I was in my room reading (good old HP of course!) and looked out the window to see the kids tearing through the yard….getting completely drenched….some of them wearing their good clothes instead of play clothes like they should of been (what can ya do?) They had so much fun ~ but they were acting like such complete fools that I’m sure the neighbors thought we were insane!

I asked the kids to pose for me and that’s when they decided to break into their rock band/cool dudes dancing routine…

I guess Will didn’t think it was so cool…

One of Will’s spectacular slides into our “lake” (what the kids named the big puddle in our front yard.)
