Last February I was asked to help teach a photography class at the Blissdom blogging conference. As I was waiting nervously for my class (and my part of the teaching) to begin, I was approached by a lovely lady who handed me a beautiful box of homemade chocolates. I was awestruck! Who is this and why did she do such a wonderful thing for me?
She then introduced herself as Ruthanne from Eclectic Whatnot and I was absolutely thrilled to finally get to meet one of our longtime i heart faces participants!
Just from the chocolates, I knew that Ruthanne was completely lovely and had a heart of gold, but it wasn’t until the IHF Nashville photo walk at the end of the week when I met the other side of Ruthanne…the fun, outgoing, absolutely-a-blast-to-hang-out-with Ruthanne. Hee!
I just discovered last week that Ruthanne has started her very own Etsy shop which gives her the opportunity to combine two of her newfound loves – photography and sewing. Her shop features shabby, chic and just plain fun camera strap covers. Her sewing is fueled by good coffee, streaming episodes of 24 and show tunes. {I can also tell you from experience that she offers super-fast shipping and incredible customer service!}
