This dessert recipe photo challenge was not a fun one for me…
Plan A: I went to the store tonight, bought a dessert just for this recipe and then proceeded to take 159,000 bad photos of it (which might have something to do with the fact that it was completely dark outside by the time I started shooting.)
Plan B: I asked Amy if I could steal one of her beautiful dessert photos and use it as mine. {She’s such a good friend that she actually sent me one to use, but I would have felt like a heel doing that.}
Plan C: I then remembered the absolute perfect dessert photo that I had in my files. Our Guest “Dessert” Photographer Judge is the amazing Bakerella (the queen of cake pops)…which made me think of a photo I had taken of the beautiful cake pops that were created for my sister-in-law’s wedding shower last summer (I did not make them, her sisters did…and they were absolutely beautiful!)
After literally searching all of my external hard drives for HOURS, I cannot find them. I know they are there and I am going nuts because they are hiding from me. Those devious, rotten little photos!
Which leads me to my final Plan D: Recycling a photo I have used on my blog at least 5 other times.
You will all have to bear with my Peanut Butter Buckeyes photo that most of you have already seen over and over again. I will always be thankful to my friend Lori for introducing me to this recipe for these lovely little beauties. Enjoy the yummy goodness over at i heart faces this week!
