As much as I love I Heart Faces, I really like these “weeks off” when Amy and I can enjoy a bit of downtime and work on the behind-the-scenes business that’s helps keep the site going strong.
As part of our week-off we are hosting a fun, casual “My Story In Photos: Favorite Things” theme that anyone can join in on…the Mr. Linky will be open for the entire week so feel free to join in whenever you have the time to do so. This is a non-judged theme and is a way for us to share more about ourselves and learn more about one another at the same time. We hope you enjoy it!

For this post though, I’ll just list the ones that I have photos for.
My Family: as wonderful, goofy and fun as they are!
My beloved Diet Coke: I don’t care if it’s regular or “unleaded”, I just love me some Diet Coke. If this was a photo of a Diet Coke from McDonald’s that would be the epitome of bliss to me. Ahhhh…
Books: My sister, Janine, and I share an obsession for reading. I rarely watch TV and am not into movies much, but books? Give me a good book any day and I’m one happy lady indeed.
Piano: Playing the piano is my therapy…a way to relieve stress…something that feeds my soul. I can’t imagine my life without the beauty of piano music in it.
Peanut Butter: I love and adore peanut butter. If you then take said peanut butter and wrap it with chocolate, my oh my. What could be much better than that?
Jogging: I actually don’t like to jog. I hate it with a passion. But, I do love how I feel after I go on a jog…and I love the weight I lose when I jog.
Now I just need to make myself get back out there and start jogging again…especially after I’ve been around those peanut butter buckeyes for awhile.
My Girl: Having a daughter who happily and willingly poses for my camera…that’s a priceless gift that I will always be thankful for.
Da Boys: Having three boys who “happily” and “willingly” pose for the camera is such a blessing as well. (Yeah, right.)
Well, at least they provide comedic relief when I need it…
Autumn Beauty: This part of the year is my very, very, VERY favorite season of all. I’m really bummed that’s it’s not cooperating here in Ohio this year though. It’s just been cold and miserable. It is time for the real fall to get here already!
Sunsets: A beautiful sunset can literally take my breath away. This was one of those moments for me…
(By the way, I Heart Sun Flare as well.)
Vacations: Being on vacation with my family is one of my very favorite things to do…I wish we were on a vacation right now! 
The Beach: And, while on the topic of vacations, we can move on to another favorite thing of mine…
If only Ohio had magnificent beaches… {sigh}

Not anything near as bad as what she had on me…but hey! A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

oh, i LOVE love buckeyes, too! it is a family tradition to make them EVERY year. it is NOT christmans without buckeyes!!

Great list and amazing pictures. You're right that this is not a typical Ohio Fall. I'm ready for crisp weather, not cold. The sun it supposed to show its fact this week! Oh and if we had beaches here that would be lovely. Enjoy your relaxing week.
I don't know. I think you really might have topped the 80's photo. I love the pink crayons; look at what you can create with Crayola! The perspective is pretty awesome, too. All of your photos are wonderful… thank yous are in order to both you AND Amy for the inspiration and the perspiration to give us a place to share it!
I wish I could get organized enough to take a photo list of my favorite things! Maybe I will, but it probably won't be in time for this week's "faces".

@My Two Seasons – those books are The Redemption Series by Karen Kingsbury. I thought they were really good reads….although if you don't like sad, one book in the series was really sad.
@Amy – I just remembered that I have a "hearts" thong photo of you somewhere. Remember that one?!?!? Hee..hee…I might need to hunt that photo down. *snort*
I am pretty sure my list is IDENTICAL. For real. The McDonald's diet coke? my life simply wouldnt be complete without it . . .

I added piano to mine too… there's nothing like playing a soothing piece at the end of a long day. Except I always seem to have extra mischievious fingers reaching around me… darn toddlers.
