Craig officially had his first sleepover last night with Weston. I was thinking that it was Weston’s first sleepover as well, but just remembered that he got to spend a whole weekend with Nathan when we were on our cruise.
Janine and I have the older kids switch houses almost every other weekend it seems. The last time we did this (on Saturday), Craig and Weston completely freaked out that they weren’t going to be able to do the same. Craig was really overtired that night, so we decided to try it on a weekday since Weston and Craig obviously don’t have to go to school the next day.
Janine very kindly helped us out last night by babysitting so that Bill and I could celebrate our 13th anniversary. We decided it’d be a great time for a first sleepover because Craig’s mommy would be the one getting him to sleep ~ a lot less stress for him! Weston was so excited that “Craigy” was coming over. “Craigy is MY friend. My and Craigy sleep in MY bed!”
When it was time for bed, Janine ended up having to lay down between them for quite awhile because they were so excited. 🙂 This morning I heard Weston yelling “Craigy, let’s play!!” I got up to see what they were up to and realized it was 3:15 a.m.!! Back to bed the little monsters went…
