Announcing…The Picture Show!

The Picture Show - Teen and Senior Photography + Video Experience - Northeast Ohio Photographer

I am so excited to announce that my sister (Andrea Riley Photography) and I have decided to combine forces and will be working together to provide photography and videography for our new business, The Picture Show.

With a combined 10 years of professional photography experience behind us and after portfolio building with video for the past year, we are thrilled to begin this new professional journey together.

The Picture Show will be focused on providing a premier photography + video experience for teens, high school seniors and young adults in the Northeast Ohio area (Medina county, Wayne county, Ashland county and surrounding areas). I have always loved working with teens as part of Angie Arthur Photography and am thrilled to be able to now focus my talent and energy on that demographic specifically with The Picture Show.

We have several fun giveaways and programs that we’ll be doing soon and one that is going on right at this time! If you are in the Wooster, Ohio area this weekend be sure to stop in at Poppy by Pursesnickety for a chance to win a free “Best Friends Forever” Photography Session from The Picture Show. This giveaway is valued at $750 and we know we’re going to have a blast photographing (and videotaping) the two teens who win this fun session. We are absolutely over the moon to be partnering with Poppy by Pursesnickety for our Senior Model Rep program that we’ll be announcing details for soon (our reps will be involved in a fabulous session that will be styled by Poppy and will have the chance to model in their upcoming fashion show as well!)

We’ll be announcing a second giveaway on our brand new Instagram account. If you are a teen (or a mom/dad of a teen) in the Northeast Ohio area, be sure to follow our account there so you won’t miss when that giveaway is announced! For that matter, be sure to follow all of our social media so you won’t miss any of our news anywhere. 🙂

Best Friends Photography Session

Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of photographing a “Best Friends” session for my daughter and several of her closest friends. We spent the day learning how to apply natural looking make-up (thanks to Maleah, a local beauty consultant), fixing everyone’s hair in the style of their choice, choosing beautiful outfits (mixing and matching from everything that the girls brought with them), and then heading out to shoot the session in the midst of some absolutely gorgeous evening light.  It was lovely to capture these memories for my daughter and I can’t wait to do it again next year!

It seems like any time I need to find Weslea, I can go into her room and find her cuddled up with the newest book she is reading.  She uses her birthday money to buy books, she gives me big-puppy-dog-eyes in stores so that I'll buy her the newest book she's been eyeing up, she brings home books she's borrowed from her teacher and she's even started reading them through the Kindle app on her iPad. … Continue reading...
